Team Info:

The 'Dallas Strikers' was a dream come true in 1986 for many Keralites residing in DFW area who have loved volleyball as their premier sporting event. It is a testament to the lasting appeal of the sport that many of its founders are still active members. The cherished and harmonious friendship among the members is the pivotal driving force and the uniqueness of this club.

Dallas Strikers Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization established to promote the sport of volleyball and provide a service for families in our local Indian community. This service was and is to help and train young boys and girls about volleyball, and apply the lessons that they learn to become the best players possible and the best people they can be.

Because of the deep love and passion towards volleyball, the Dallas Strikers and three other Indian volleyball clubs (Chicago Lions, New York Spikers, Philadelphia Stars) from North America formed the one and only established Indian volleyball league 'Kerala Volleyball League of North America' in 1989. The league conducted the first tournament in May 1989 (Memorial Day weekend) in memory of late Jimmy George.

Success soon followed. Dallas Strikers won their first Jimmy George Memorial Super Trophy in 1989. Throughout the 90?s, Dallas Strikers maintained one the top positions in the League, winning the title once again in 1995. The Club soon attracted more young players to play volleyball, and to enjoy the unique atmosphere and friendship that have been built up.

The philosophy of our club has remained the same throughout the years. We strive for excellence in instruction and development of each player on an individual basis with an unparalleled integrity as well as within the concept of the team.
